Maharashtra HSC 12th Result 2025 Highlights: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has declared the Class 12 Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination results today, May 5, 2025. The direct link to download scorecard has been activated at 1 PM. The board confirmed the timing through an official notification issued earlier. Results will be available on the official website mahresult.nic.in and other authorised digital portals.Over 14 lakh students who appeared for the HSC examinations across Maharashtra are awaiting the outcome, which will play a decisive role in determining their eligibility for undergraduate admissions in various streams, including medicine, engineering, law, commerce, and the arts. The results will also influence admission cut-offs and counselling processes that are expected to follow in the coming weeks.Students can check their results by visiting the official website and clicking on the “HSC Examination Result 2025” link. They must enter their roll number and their mother’s first name to access the result. After submission, the result can be downloaded or printed for reference. Additionally, students have the option to receive their scores via SMS by sending their roll number to the designated mobile number. Physical copies of the marksheets will be distributed later through respective schools.This year’s HSC examinations were conducted under heightened scrutiny. The board reported 360 cases of cheating during the exam period, highlighting the scale of monitoring and the ongoing challenge of maintaining exam integrity. Strict security protocols, including surveillance and digital verification systems, were in place to ensure fair conduct and error-free evaluation.The board has a consistent record of releasing Class 12 results before Class 10. In 2024, the HSC results were declared on May 21, while the SSC results followed on May 27. A similar pattern was expected this year, but the HSC result has been brought forward to May 5, ahead of last year’s schedule. The SSC results are now anticipated in the last week of May.As per last year’s data, the overall pass percentage for HSC stood at 93.37 percent. Female students outperformed male counterparts, registering a pass percentage of 95.44 percent compared to 91.60 percent among boys. The Konkan division recorded the highest performance among all divisions in both HSC and SSC examinations.Students are advised to keep their login credentials ready and ensure a stable internet connection while accessing the result. In case of any discrepancy, they are encouraged to contact the board's helpline or approach their respective schools for rectification. The announcement marks a significant academic milestone and opens the gateway to higher education opportunities across the country.
