'The Greatest Of All Time' aka 'GOAT', a much-anticipated film, has delivered impressive box office results since its release, capturing significant audience attention and generating substantial revenue. As it continues its run in theaters, its earnings reflect the film's popularity and the strong connection it has forged with viewers. The success of 'GOAT' can be attributed to its captivating storyline, talented cast, and effective marketing.
As of September 29, the film celebrated 25 days in theaters with a new promo release. After this period, 'GOAT' has grossed approximately Rs 460 crore globally, according to Cinetrak.
The domestic earnings are estimated to be around Rs 305 crore, with Tamil Nadu being the major contributor, bringing in nearly Rs 220 crore. Kerala and Karnataka contributed about Rs 30 crore each, while the film saw lower earnings in the Telugu states. Internationally, 'GOAT' earned around Rs 165 crore, performing well in various overseas markets, including North America, the UK, Malaysia, Singapore, and Sri Lanka.
However, it appears that 'GOAT' may not achieve the milestone of becoming Vijay's second film to gross Rs 500 crore, as it has lost a significant number of screens. After a strong opening week with around Rs 270 crore, its earnings dropped to less than Rs 200 crore over the following two weeks.
