Soon after the video went viral on the internet, the actor deactivated his Instagram account, sparking concern among his well-wishers across various social media platforms.
Babil’s team has now responded to the situation with an official statement to the media.
The team reassured fans that the actor is safe and feeling better, stating: “Over the past few years, Babil Khan has earned immense love and appreciation for his work, as well as for his openness about his mental health journey. Like anyone else, Babil is allowed to have difficult days — and this was one of them. We want to reassure all his well-wishers that he is safe and will be feeling better soon. That said, a video of Babil has been widely misinterpreted and taken out of context.”


Babil Khan’s team clarified that the viral video was taken out of context, especially since it included names of fellow actors. The video was from an older conversation where he was addressing industry toxicity. However, the official statement emphasized that Babil was actually appreciating his peers for their successful careers.
