'Sikandar' box office collection day 6: The Salman Khan starrer drops further, less likely to cross Rs 100 crore on Friday
Salman Khan's 'Sikandar' which released on March 30, just a day prior to Eid, saw a lower opening than many other movies of the star. On day 1, the movie made around Rs 26 crore at the domestic box office. Meanwhile, it did not see any major growth on Eid and made Rs 29 crore. It was a Sunday release for the movie, but even 'Tiger 3' which released on a Sunday during Diwali, had an opening number of around Rs 43 crore. After Eid, the film gradually began seeing a drop in the business and on Thursday, it almost crashed with just Rs 5.75 crore. Thus, by the end of day 5, the collection of the film stands at around Rs 90 crore, according to Sacnilk. Now on Friday, day 6, the film has a slow start, just like Thursday. Up till the afternoon shows, it collected Rs 1.91 crore. Thus, the total collection of 'Sikandar' now stands at Rs

Do You Think Sikandar Will Recover Its Box Office Performance In The Coming Weeks?
According to Box Office India, the trend of 'Sikandar' is similar to that of Shah Rukh Khan's 'Zero' and Ranveer Singh starrer '83'. While of course, this film has done better than Salman's previous Eid release, 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan', but 'Sikandar' was mounted on a much high budget and hence, will suffer more loss.Meanwhile, one hopes that the film does see a growth now on the upcoming Saturday, Sunday in order to sustain in the coming week. The film is facing competition from other Hindi releases like 'The Diplomat' and 'Chhaava', apart from Gujarati movies like 'All The Best Pandya'. Day wise collection of the film, according to Sacnilk: Day 1 [1st Sunday] ₹ 26 Cr -Day 2 [1st Monday] ₹ 29 CrDay 3 [1st Tuesday] ₹ 19.5 Cr Day 4 [1st Wednesday] ₹ 9.75 Cr Day 5 [1st Thursday] ₹ 5.75 Cr Week 1 Collection ₹ 90 Cr -Day 6 [1st Friday] ₹ 1.91 Cr ** Total ₹
