South Korean actor Lee Do Hyun has officially completed his mandatory military service, marking the end of his 21-month-long enlistment.The actor who was discharged from the Air Force military band, was greeted warmly by fans celebrating his return to civilian life. Despite beginning his service in August 2023, Lee remained in the public eye thanks to his any projects filmed prior to his enlistment. While he continued his military duty, he made occasional appearances on screens, and also made a memorable appearance at the 60th Baeksang Arts Awards earlier this year.At the awards show, the hunk accepted the Best New Actor award for his performance in the supernatural thriller Exhuma, Lee turned heads by appearing in his uniform and publicly acknowledging his girlfriend with a simple yet heartfelt message: “Ji Yeon, thank you.” The rare show of affection sparked headlines and won over fans for its sincerity.

Meanwhile, MONSTA X’s star Hyungwon also hit the headlines after it was announced that he will be discharged from the military, today, May 13. The singer has officially completed his service in the Army Band after enlisting in November 2023, approximately a year and six months ago.Hyungwon’s discharge holds special significance as it falls on the day before MONSTA X’s 10th debut anniversary. To mark the occasion, the K-Pop band will release a digital album titled ‘NOW PROJECT vol.1’ on May 14 through various music platforms.
