A 2016 study found that consumption of 2 cups of coffee daily protects against the progression of almost all forms of liver disease. “Coffee promotes liver health due to its antioxidant content,” the gut doctor adds. It also decreases the risk of fatty liver and liver cancer. The doctor advises not to add sugar to it. He cautioned that individuals experiencing heartburn or bloating might benefit from decaf coffee, ideally prepared using the CO2 method to preserve its health benefits.

For overall immunity/health & rejuvenation (including Liver health to reduce diabetes/body heat) - Cut one fresh Amla/Indian gooseberry every two or three days into fine pieces and gently fry till translucent in sufficient good quality groundnut oil in a cast iron kadai and eat with food.
